Mach 460 door speakers

Im trying to get the mirrors off my mustang bu i cant get the speakers that are covering the bolts to the mirror any body got any clue how to take them off???

The easiest way that I found out was to gently insert a small common screwdriver at the top in between the cover and the base and gently pry it off as I have already performed this similar operation.

yeah, the gentleman before me has it right. if i remmeber, they are on push/pull clips and should come off with some gently applied pressure.

ok thanks i figured it out eventually it just wasnt making any sence at first, didnt want to break them
