if i hit "cd" it says "no cd" all six slots are lit up, only five discs are in there, if i hit "load" it says " cd error" if i hit eject it says "initializing" this is on or off. . .. when it says inititlizing i can hear it thinkin or doin something but that's all.

when u hear it grinding away thats when u pound on the prick and it will eventually spit them out one by one u will have to select the cd and hit eject and let it grind them pound it thats how i got min out.... it says no cd to thats why i took the bap cable off and let it sit for 15 min when i turned it back on it detected the cd trays as having cd's so i attempted to eject they wernt so i have it some tough love and they came out eventually.

lol no just was a very angry mach 460 owner lol i just bought the car bought 6 new cd's cuz i had none with me the day i picked the mustang up from the dealership and i popped them all in and it fuckin ate them all lol no worky so i went home got them out after like 2 hours of trial and error then took the car back and got them to give me a new 6 disk lol

Well i just tried it a couple times and still nothing, it wont even make a sound now, the only thing i hear is like a fan or something and the display dims a lil and gets bright again. . . sorry for the thread jack.

ur on the last draw u need to pull the unit and takethe cover off ot retreive your cd's srry dude its showin u no love.

ive never took split anything...so should i just take the unit out and check the wires, or what should i do?

the buttons are all soldered to be back of the main circuit board your pretty much fucked unless you have some serious electronics knowledge

it could be a bad switch or a short in the PCB its self cuz u say the seek button has taken the function of the disk skip button sounds liek its toast to me unless its just a short ur father can clean up.
