well having gauges posted on the pillar that are the same in front of u might not be doing much...now define your version of " race car " I know plenty of cars that can do 10s in the 1/4 or they race on road courses but its not a race car.......race cars usually imply not road legal as well...and are towed to the track lol...maybe thats just my take on it

15 floors w.e 150 something feet in the air... hows that...

what are your goals for the car... if you wanna race all you might need is a shift light that way you don't over rev and blow something ... if its a 5 speed

well this will be as close to that as posible but still street legal however i will be pushing it to it's liments and i don,t want to dameg any thing
and it is for road corce racing so if u don,t want to call that a race car that is fine but there is still a rason for the gages other than just looks

oh yeah i know that...im saying no need to get the same gauges on the pillar that are in front of you.....a small shift light pen style would be fine so u dont have to look down when driving a manual....on the course...as for gauges ur staying NA...i dont see many things u would need other then a Trans temp gauge

1. Oil pressure
2. Water temp
3a. Trans temp (auto)
3b. Oil Temp (man. or auto)
3c. Intake Air Temp (boosted)
3d. Fuel pressure (juiced or boosted)

The factory gauges are crap. The oil pressure, water temp, and volts are little more than idiot lights. They do not report an accurate measurement range. Their voltage thresholds are too great. Ask somebody who has installed a full sweep oil pressure gauge how much range they see from idle to 4-5k. :wink

Leave the wideband a/f (narrow band=junk) sensors for data logging. Even watching a wideband gauge will make you go crazy after a while. The best way to view wideband data is by creating a graph.
