HID help, kinda asap

So I bought an hid kit a long time ago, it was some asian company, so the passenger side started to flicker about a month after i got it, and then it eventually would either a) not turn on or b) turn on and off, until it just stopped working, checked the connections and the power stopped at the ballast so im guessing it was a blown ballast, anyways, i bought a new one from american muscle and its doing the exact same thing except on the drivers side now, i emailed them and all they told me were to check the connections, which i did several times over. anyone have this problem?

check the headlight switch. they like to go bad once n awhile espically when you do something with the headlights. also you might want to check your connections

like...the switch in the dash? wouldnt they both go out if that were the case, as well as the connections seeing as how they both run off one plug

yes the switch on the dash... not necessarily. if the switch is going bad they act up like what you are describing. just something to check into ya know.

it sounds like you have a wire connected to a wire that it shouldnt be connected to. that or a wire is shorting out some how. like a bare wire touching the frame or somthing.

my friends had that happen twice now on his 06 tiburon but were not sure why. he bought a similar kit to the 3 i've purchased and none of the sets i own have been any problem. i dunno if he just got unlucky with his set or theres somethin about his car thats messin em up. Like his will always flicker when you turn em on if the cars not running. mine on the honda and both sets on the mustang dont do that, whether the car is off or on it doesnt matter so honestly i'm not sure. sounds like your ballasts may of went bad. see if the seller you got them from has a warranty and get it replaced. also did your ballast/ignitors have any kind of second relay of some sort or did it require extra wiring to hook them up. all the sets ive ever used are just direct plug and play and no relays, yet to have a problem with them.
