Question about wiring up speakers and what not

OK i FINALLY got my car back and it's running. Now for my next project.

My car has only 1 speaker that works properly. The front passenger side one in the door works. The front driver side kinda works. It's cracklying and is hard to hear but it is working to some degree. The 2 back speakers are not hooked up at all. Whoever had it before me put a system in it and did a piss poor job of wiring it up. Well now that system is gone and all the wires are left but i have no idea what is hooked up and isnt. The 2 speakers in the trunk are not hooked up at all. My friend and I tested the one with a 9 volt battery so we know it works but when it tried wiring them up with the wires hanging from the trunk we got nothing.

So.... Does anyone know where i can get a tutorial on how to fix this nightmare or should i just pay someone else to fix the wiring for me?
If so how much? I'm going to have about $500 to spend on wiring and speakers if i need to.

for the stock speakers there should be some ford speaker connectors that hook right up. follow the stock speaker wire from the back all the way to the head unit maybe theyve been spliced. if i were you id just get a new head unit and run new wring like i did. its not that hard
