INSTALLING AN AMP
hey, Bought an amplifier, how does the speaker wire work? it goes from the battery to am, deck to amp, amp to speakers right? does the deck still go to the speakers? i dont think it does... i think im just going to unplug the wires from the deck and transfer them to the amp.. will that work?

yeah, amp to speakers...but you need a multi-channel amp to power more than one speaker. if you wanna power your whole stereo from an amp, you may not have enough outputs on your amp. or if you're trying to just power a subwoofer, than just a mono amp is fine, since that's just one speaker, and then use your head unit for the rest of your speakers.
