need help with my new subs


kk im building a subbox and i don't have the digram for the subs there 12' because there on order so i decided to build the box while im waiting. what is the best way to cut the hold out? and should i use roof insolation or buy nonglass insulation for the inside. btw ill post a pic of the box soon it's fucking sweet if i comes out right so far so good only felt and add my designs

u need to know the airspace needed for the subs...from there u need to know how to convert measurments to get the airspace.....use 3/4" mdf (i think thats the name of the wood),liquid nails works great to put between the boards and when your finished to insure its airtight,to cut the hole out u can drill a hole and use a jigsaw, cut slow and stick to the line,the best way to get the circle is wait to get the box the sub comes in and the piece that they are sitting in use that circle to draw the hole and cut it out,also a little tacking gun works great so u dont have to hammer or drill anything just get long tacks and ur good,

it's together now used woodglue and finishing nails with a nail gun, and use silcone and sprasyfoam for sealing it, yea was thinking that or might d/l one off the net and print it off

if your building it big enough you dont need to use any polyfill on the inside.

what subs did you order?

fill the box with cotton when you're ready to install the subs in the box.
