Gauge from a 03 cobra on a mustang GT 02

I was wondering...

I have a SC Gt.. and i would like to have some gauge but i want it to be a sleeper..
So my question is, how much work will it take to install the 03-04 gauge with already have the boost gauge..

it would be cheaper to get the boost gauge man.

yeah i know but i just want it to look org.. dont like all these gauge on the A-piler but someone must have made it befor me.. like in the dash or something..

ok. well than all you need is an 03-04 Cobra cluster and a tune and your set.

your mph will be off since the transmission is a 6 spd and you have a 5 spd.
also because the Cobra cluster goes to 160 and yours goes to 150.

you also need to pull the computer out of your cluster and swap it with the Cobras.

i see what you mean know... it would be alot easyer with gauge in the A piller.. :0

your gauge doesn't need to be there.. you can mount it anywhere man.

The type of trans has no effect on the speedo. Considering the speedo gear attaches to the output shaft. It wouldn't be that hard to get it to work. You just need to find out first how it works then you need to know how to wire it up. If your capable of doing either one of those then yeah give it a shot.
