Help me with my SCT tune

Couple questions, I just picked up an SCT xcal and want to know a few things.

1) I have stock gears now but will get 4.10's in the future. Will I need a new tune for the 4.10's? I don't see why I would need to, just curious.

2) How much of a power and mpg difference would I see between an 87 tune and a 93 tune? I wouldn't mind the extra horses of 93 octane, but is it worth it? I never noticed a difference in 93 before the tune, would rather save the $$$ each tank.

3) Where should I get my tunes? I am thinking VMP but have heard good things about dallas mustang too, any other places?

Anything else specific I should ask for in the tune?

thanks!

Re: Help me with my SCT tune

as for your questions:
you will need to adjust your tune but that should be free depending on what tuner you go with.

the power diff. is noticable between the 2 octanes and imo it's worth it.
besides if you don't think it's worth it you can just go back to your 87 octane tune.

VMP, BamaChips, Me.

just tell the tuner your mod list.

Ok, thanks for the info....check your pm's.

Can this be moved to 96-98 or should I just repost?
