Speakers / Amp install

I have a couple questions maybe you all can help me out with. I currently installed some Infinity Kappa 682.7cf speakers to my car. As of right now i don't have an amp hooked up to them. It makes a popping noise after turning a song past say 24 volume level. My head unit is a JVC XG700... Do you guys think this is all because i don't have an amp?

as for my last question. I currently have an amp hooked up to my 12" audiobahn subs. If i were to get a second amp would I just hook it up right to the battery like the last? Will I have a problem with my battery draining or anything like that? Any and all help is appreciated.

also if you guys have any suggestions as to what amp to get I'm looking to spend no more then $200 for a 4 channel amp.

Ok you can have a multi amp install and I would recommend a power distribution block. Have one lead from the battery wire guage 0 into a 4 port distribution block. I would also recommend a fared cap be put inline to the amp going to the audiobahn's. I would also recommend a ground block for the amps only and the main wire would be grounded to the chassis.

Next look at you alternator is it strong enough to run what you want? You may opt for a high amp output to counter any extra power needed to run the vehicle with no dimming of the lights or computer problems.

Now for the poping I do not believe it is because you don't have an amp it may be the frequency you have them set for. I hope with amps being installed you have some sort or processor to distribute the highs, mids, lows.If you don't then I recommend you get one before you waste your speakers. If you do Orion makes an awesome test disk to tune your speakers in to gain peak performance.

I hope this helps you some what. =)
