autometer gauge
i installed the tachometer from autogauge that i got from my friend for 50 bucks and got all of the wires connected i got power and a good ground and the gauge reads too high, the stock gauge still reads corectly and at idle the stock one reads 800 and the autometer read about 1600, whenevr i rev the engine up whatever the stock gauge reads the autometer doubles,

i dont know what to tell you other then it may be a faulty gauge or your stock tach was off read and not working properly. id return it and get another one and if it does the same thing your in dash has to be reading wrong
