Guess I'm out. I have a 97 BUT vert trunks are smaller
My sub box has to face the front at all times because the back of it won't fit inside the trunk, but will fit at the door when it is closed.I just have one of the Wal-Mart 12" boxes, lol.

you have it wired backwards if it is recoiling inward. Switch your positive and negative wires around on the back of the sub, or on the connection plate on the box.

Lol my connection plate is FUBAR, the connectors broke a long time ago and I just wired straight to the sub. Might not be smart, but its better than spending money.

do you have two subs in the box? are they wired seperate or is there one terminal on the box? If there is one terminal and you this problem you need to pull out on of the subs and make sure it is wired correctly. This could get complicated depending on your ohm load and what subs they are, and how they are supposed to be wired, (serial or parrell/loop) But I would still pull out the one firing backward and check it's connections

It will ALWAYS LOOK like it is pulling inwards no matter what way the wires are connected. You cant physically "see" the difference the connections make only hear how it blends into the system.
