Mirror Rattle

I have a 2007 mustang and last week my passenger side mirror started to rattle and hasn't stopped. It rattles when I open the door or turn the bass up. What can I do to fix it

Is it just the mirror then? Or is it the the whole unit the the mirror is holding shaking and moving?

Its expensive as hell to replace any power mirrors, though i doubt you need to. Don't know whether or not its true on mustangs but on my sisters honda the clip that holds the mirror to the door was broken and it just needed replacing. (Hopefully someone can confirm whether or not mustangs have clips.) But if you want to find out pull the mirror back very slightly. See if there is a clip that holds it on, and if it is broken or if it just slipped off. If it slipped off just try to get the clip back onto where it clips onto the door. If its broken, i don't know where other than the ford dealership to replace them. If there aren't clips, sorry for wasting your time, thankfully i haven't had my mirror fuck up.

I looked on mine, was hard to peel back the plastic to see. I caught a little glimsp and I thought I saw screws holding it in. I could be wrong, not an expert.

-I also got a 2007 mustang.

I took it to the dealership last week, and they told me there was a little piece broken. They couldn't fix it there so they just ordered me a new side mirror unit. Thanks for the help.
