I just bought a 2001 V6 Coupe.

It has a 460 Mach audio system in it, and it seems the lower left speaker (the one behind the plastic grill in the left door) is defective or blown.

Where can I get a replacement speaker?
I am not looking for some fancy powerful replacements, it would be best if it were the same as produced by the manufacturer of the Mach audio system. If this is not possible, what would be the best alternative?

How do I replace the speaker once I have one?
I would like to do this with the least amount of damage to the vehicle as possible, of course

check on ebay for a factory replacement,if not check ebay for a cheap 5&7 or 6 by 8(same thing) but if i was you i would replace them all with some aftermarket speakers,replaceing them in the front doors is not hard at all.i think there is2 to 3 screws that holds the panel on the rest just pops off

00regt means the speaker size.

In your door is a 5" by 7" oval shaped speaker. a 6x8 is just a slightly larger version of the 5x7.

cheap way,pioneer,sony, if u want some better sound get some type'rs ,cdt's,bostons,image dynamics etc,everybody is goin to give you differert opinions,just go to your local car audio shop an listen to what they have a go from there,then if there price is to high go to ebay or woofersetc.com or ikesound.com
