I don't know whether this is a well known fact or not but I found out at my work that the mechanics when they run a preliminary check to see there were no defects in the cars we receive, they do a sound check.

To do this you need any ford with stock head unit (I believe its 96 or up)
Put on some sort of music with a wide variety of sounds and bass
Hold the saved station 3 and 6 button simultaneously
The head unit will then cycle through and play each speaker individually
This will allow you to sound check your speakers
