My engine light went on last night went to advanced this afternoon had it throw a P0455 emissions leak (large) anyone tried a vacum leak by spraying carb cleaner on all the lines but nothing. went to get a new battery (nothing to do with engine light i just have needed one for a while unplugged the old one and no engine light anymore its off now?

whats the year and make and model of your car? cause on mine the P455 code has to do with the Emission system. Do you have an aftermarket fuel cap on your car? Somewhere in your fuel system you are lossing vacuum or maybe you have a vacuum leak somewhere by your EVAP canister. And the light on the dash went off because you disconnected your battery for an amount of time which clears the stored data for the PCM but be aware that the mil light will come on again if the problem is not fixed.
