Power Window Problems
I have been having problems w/ my passenger side window. The controls on the passenger side can operate the window fine, but it's the driver side control for that window that won't work. I have to lean over and use the passenger side control to roll it up and down. I messed w/ the wiring under my panel for the windows and it worked for a little while, but then the problem came back after the car had been turned off. It used to work when I would have someone roll the window down and I would hold up on the control on my side to make the window stop because it was getting an up and down signal at the same time. Then I could roll it up and down for awhile w/ my control again, until like I said the car was turned off. Any one know what might be the problem, fuse, loose wire. How can i fix it w/out having to order anything?

If it were a fuse, I would think that'd be affecting your driver side window as well, so I think it could be a loose wire problem. Did you check the passenger side door panel to see if the wire was loose?

The passenger side works fine, it's just when I use the passenger side window control on my little panel that it won't go down. I think it might be a loose wire because when I took that panel off and messed with the wiring for a little bit at a stop light it worked until I turned off the car at work. When I turned it back on again the window wouldn't work w/ my switch, but still fine w/ the passenger switch. Can the little box that the wires go into be opened or how can I retighten the wire? And hey who made your little picture under you post? What do I have to do to have someone make one for me or can you do it?

I think it would be just the switch on the drivers side that controls the passenger window. I dont know of many ways to test that that dont invole popping fuses but maybe you could find a wrecked pony the same year as yours at a junk yard and pull the driver side switches and hook them up. It might work,it might not. I'm leaning twords the drivers side switch panel bieng corroded. That would make the controls work intermidently.Good Luck bro, hope you get it all worked out.Oh, does(when the passenger window goes up or down) it go up or down slowly? Maybe the motor is fuzzzin(dieying)out and because the drrivers side is farther away the slight drop in amperage wont give the passenger motor enuff juice. I dunno but just a brain fart!

Hey thanks for the help guys, no the window rolls up and down at the same speed it always did. I'm thinking it's a loose wire. The door lock switch and the window switch as well as the mirror changing thing work just fine, it's only the passenger window switch.
