Battery relocation

For those of you who have this done what gage wire did you use? In planning on using 2 gage. Also what path did you use to route it from the trunk to the front of the car?
Also any other tips that you may have for this mod would be great.

Have not done a batt relocation, but would recommend that you run the wire along the door jamb.

When I wired my subs I ran the power wire from the trunk, under the seat/carpet. I put the wire in a protective sheath then popped off the plastic right where the carpet meets the door jamb and ran it along there. From there, you can widen up the grommet where your main harness runs through(above clutch or on auto's above the place to put your left foot) and run it right into your engine bay.

If you need picks to visualize this, let me know I can get some on. This set up makes it so the wire is virtually impossible to find/ feel.
