pull out cluster and check to see that both plugs are firmly connected. From there make sure that the wires leading to the connector aren't loose. Don't know much about the cluster but those are two possibilities

Before you take the cluster apart, try this to see if it is a guage cluster problem or a computer problem. Press and hold the trip/odo button, and start the car. After a few seconds, you should see all of the guages sweep full right, then full left, then to normal. Release the trip button, and press and release again. The odo area should read "bulb", and all of the bulbs will light up. Several other presses will reveal diagnostic codes that a Ford Tech can use to troubleshoot your car. They really don't mean much without the proper conversion tables, so just ignore them. (One cool one is a digital tach, labeled "tac----" with the engine RPM as the dashes.) If the guages all sweep fine in the first part of the test, then your problem will be somewhere else. If they don't sweep, or only the ones that work now sweep, then dig in.
