Dome Lights

I noticed that my 06 Mustang does not have any lights in the back seat and that is in need of change. I got some lights to go back there and I want them to wire in so they come in when the door is opened. However on the new mustangs there is no Door Pin, so does anyone know where the wires are I need to tap into to do it?

Thanks?

Find your domelight supervision wire light green/yellow. It can be found in passenger a pillar or at the smart juction box(gray 26 pin plug, pin 25) in the passenger kick panel. This wire is a Negative trigger. Use a DMM to test the wire.

I do not understand yet. so this light green/yellow wire is in the pillar running along the windsheild?

I have a + and a - wire that need hooking up. so the light green/yellow wire is where i hook the pos wire? when you say neg trigger what exactly does that mean? if you could please explain the hook up in a little more detail I would greatly appreciate it.

no. it's a negative. hook the positive side of your new light up to a 12v source. and the negative side of your new light to the dome light supervision wire. that will supply the ground (-) when the dome light is triggered either by the door or by manually turning it on from within the car.

i know this is a few days old. but, whatever.
