I have no idea. I wish I could help ya out. My guess is that something did get loose or something along that lines. Call ford, or not even that. Just call a shop and tell them that you have the non-electronic speedo and tell them what happened aka it just randomly stopped. They might be able to help too. But me myself, i don't know what to tell you...sorry bro

Is it just displaying dashes, or nothing at all? I mean I'd try pulling the gauge cluster out, one of the connections may have come loose from in back. Check those, if it's still good, then you'd probably have to take it to ford.

Yeah. The clusters do go out from time to time. A lot of circuit boards in there. I believe this is only one ribbon style connection in the back of the cluster anyway. So more than like it needs to be replaced. We replace them pretty often here in the shop. But that's just how Ford does it. They don't service components on the electronic clusters; just the whole unit. And they're pretty pricey if you try to just buy one outright. Better off getting a used one. But you may want to verify it's the cluster itself that's bad.

yo mAn, still having issues with this??

I found a thread on here 1.5 yrs ago that dealt with the instrument panel. My cluster stopped around 34K....

Back to that thread I found, there was a guy listed in there that sells the gears needed to replace inside the cluster. it was a very easy fix.. just need to get the cluster out of its housing lol.

The gear itself cost me like $25 or something. He makes them. Everything went fine afterwards.

let me know if you want his information
