I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried or heard of SLR performance chips? I found them and it was cheaper than most so i was wondering about the quality of them?

Although the pictures on their website show a chip, I suspect this thing is not, in fact, a chip at all. For one thing, they advertise ones that fit a range of vehicles too broad to respond to the same chip (ONE part number for ALL 1990 to 2008 Mustangs? Ford completely redesigned their computer in 1996, made some serious overhauls to it later, and used significantly different computers for I4, V6, and V8 models.), it's likely this is the old resistor in the coolant temperature sensor wire trick. These seldom work very well, and definitely won't give you a 50 hp gain like SLR claims.
