Hello,
I did the install yesterday, but doors don't lock or unlock with the viper remote. I wired like the diagram for "Three wire (-) ground pulse controlling factory lock relay". Is it the good one for Mustang ? How can I check ? Thank you Regis

are you just using the lock harness that just has the blue and green wires on it or are you using the the 3 wire relay pack that has a red, blue, and green wire; then it goes into a black relay that has 5 or 6 wire coming out of it?

Yes, i used only the door lock harness, with
- green/black -> White/violet In Black 26-pin plug - blue black to Dk.blue/green In Black 26-pin plug Am I wrong ? Do I have to connect on FACTORY ARM and DISARM ? ( maybe i didn't understand what is the lock/unlock )

ok, so you are using the relay pack. There should also be a violet/black or purple/black wire/wires on there what do you have those hooked up to?

this wire need to be hooked up to ground since you door locks are negative trigger. what this does is it converts the ouput to the lock and unlock wire to negative enabling the locks/unlocks to function

the other wires that you hooked up are correct though, you just need to ground out that wire that i mentioned.

Maybe I can do some tests..

you grounded it and still got nothing or did it work? also make sure that you got a good ground, dont use anything that already has wires going to it. take your drill or whatever scrape some paint off and get your own ground. If it still doesnt work if you can take some pics of your lock/unlock connections along with the wires from the unit I can tell if something was missed or not.

Ok I ll do it. I grounded the alarm ground and the 'lock harness ground' on an existing gound ( the goung at the right of SJB )... I ll modify it.

so i take it that you still didnt manage to get the locks to work? when you hit unlock do you hear anything? you should hear 1 audible click coming from the "brain" when you hit lock and 2 audible clicks when you hit unlock.

For your information, I didn't wired the following wires:
H1/7 : instant trigger H1/9 : Domelight relay output H1/10 : Channel 3 output H1/12 : Ground when armed ouput H2/1 : Second unlock H2/3 : Retained accessory output H2/4-5-6 : Channel ouputs H2/8 : Factory disarm output H3/A : Domelight relay input H3/B : Lock normaly closed H3/E : Unlock normaly closed I m not sure for H2/1 and H2/8. Auxiliary and Door lock harness are very short. So the only place I found for the CPU is on the SJB. I didn't connect the Immobilizer yet. Wires are extremly short too and I ll need to add wire to go to ignition switch harness ( if it is the good place to connect ).

sounds like you got everything. those wires that you listed you are not going to need. so are you still not getting any lock or unlock? Just to check you sure you got it plugged into the right spot, cause some of those plugs are the same and it can get you mixed up. yeah, easiest thing to do is to just extend the wires so that you can reach everything that you need.

I m comfused : I did an error. I wired factory alarm arm and disarm in place of Power lock/unlock !
I will reconnect good wires in the next days. Last question : how to connect trunk pin ? there is a white yellow (+) wire ( SJB blk 26 pin plug / pin 15 ) but on the alarm, there is an instant trigger input ( blue wire ) with polarity (-).

you will need a relay in order to change the polarity output. good to see that you found your error, best way to learn is to mess up. if you can manage to get a hold of a relay then I can tell you how to wire it up.

Door locking/unlocking with viper remote works !
![]() Last things to do : - connecting trunk pin - finding the place to fix the siren and the CPU. I think the siren must be under the hood, but I need a place not too HOT ! Concerning the CPU, I ll try to fix it close to the SJB.

good to hear that you got it working. when you get the relay just let me know. also that Blue instant trigger wire you are not gonna use unless your car has a switch on it. What it does is if someone breaks into your trunk it sets off an "instant trigger". The wire that you will be using is the Red/White wire, if i remeber right it is 2nd auxillary output.
