Hey guys need some help with the H.I.D's

Well the car we bought the for girlfriend came with hids, its a 96 GT and since we got it, it has been having problems with the hid's working, the drivers side ALWAYS works but the passenger side works every now and then, ive double checked all of the guys connections and everything appears to be good. I have no idea where he bought the kit at so I dont know how to go about maybe replacing the ballast, it could be the problem. any ideas what to try guys? thanks

It's probably the ballast- this same thing happened to me (sort of) and when I swapped the ballasts over to the other side- the problem light followed.
You might try that, swap the ballast you have on the passenger side over to the drivers side and see if the drivers side has problems. I just recently bought my kit, though, and a quick email to the company has a new ballast on its way to me as I type.

yeah man when its not so freaking cold outside i will do that, since this hid kit was on the car when we bought it, i guess we should just get a complete new kit if the ballast is bad, or will any ballast work? i highly doubt it but ya never know

any ballast may work but i wouldnt chance it...get a whole kit IMO, keep old ballast/kit incase they are needed for future temporary fix.
