Allright. Would I be better off with a 5.0 or a 2.3T rather then my 2.3L? Or does that matter?

Also need to find some tracks in ohio.

Cart before the horse, man.

Drive what you have. Don't worry about what class you're in or anything, just go drive your tires off.

And there's not tracks per se, you need to find local groups. There should be a good amount of autocrossing in your area, google should help you find it. At the very least, the SCCA should be able to point you in the right direction, also Porsche and BMW clubs will do events, and they're almost NEVER exclusive.

Just make sure you can pass the tech inspection, which will involve at the very least checking your battery tie-down, your wheel bearings, your seat and seatbelts, and for any leaks.

When that is all complete, you NEED the full GR-40/SLA treatment on your ride and will blow the competition away

that little 2.3 can be nasty and give you a better weight distrubtion i would think and i agree with the above
