Are you dead set on 295 tires? The Dunlop Direzza Z1 Sport Star Specs that have been trophying at Nationals in STU for the past couple of years are $269 for 275/35/18's which is as wide as they make them.
The Hankook Ventus R-S3 is similarly priced at $265 for 285/35/18 and are 140 treadwear compared to the 200 treadwear of the Dunlops. There seem to be a lot of winners using a Toyo Tire, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out which Toyo tire that is. Proxes R1R maybe? Not sure, they are not on Tirerack anyway. ![]() The last option is more expensive than the RE11's are, and that's the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08s which in 295/30/18 trim are $329 each, which IS A6 territory for tires. They are also 180 treadwear.
