NCRSCCA back to foxtrot

Solid event, fast as heck, even had to shift to third . My issue remains the fact i still have no torque arm. Had little to no confidence in the sweeper or the hairpin turn. Causing me to not be as aggressive as i could have been. All six runs were in the 55s.

I did have the torsen t2r diff installed before the event. It helped, but could not compensate for the rear end.

You should see where I get to play during the summer The only people that don't envy me are those who go to Nationals and those who are in the Nebraska Region or travel to the events held there! You could say I'm spoiled by my asphalt at the Nationals Site! I knew there was a reason I loved living in Nebraska!

Anyway, Smilie it looks like a fun course regardless of the situation with the Torque Arm. Any idea when you will be getting/switching to one? Are you going with the Watts link or the PHB configuration?

This is how I feel our setups are always like, but for a car of course.

We do it on an old runway/air force base.

Well you could always focus on the low end torque stuff, since that is what you'd need to navigate the tighter courses with any speed. Of course, you may wish to deal with some of the shortcommings in the suspension. Coilovers and Torque Arm + PHB or preferably a Watts Link and some sway bars to help the car rotate. Combine that with some good rubber and I think it would be less of an issue for you.

Since Nationals we've switched to a smaller site on the Lincoln Air Park and while I normally don't care where it is (because I love finding the faults of my vehicle) it does get old having the SAME course every time just in a different order. At least the nationals site is HUGE and the 60+ second runs makes paying 35$ and standing outside burning your bum off worth the effort. This smaller course, even with 5-6 runs is just annoying even if it does favor cars with more power down low. The average run at the "Hangers" is in the 40second to low 50 second range and it just isn't nearly as nice as the 60+ second runs at the nationals site. I'd rather pay more for the Nationals site than paying less for this one, more runs be damned

I have the PHB already in, i have the torque arms sitting on my floor behind me. I just have to wait till tues. Then i have another autoX on the following Sun. which will give me a chance to really test it. Then another one on the 6th of Nov. Then i am gone for a year, come back and finish this.
