THSCC Danville airport 23 Oct.

53.8ish

52.5ish

52. flat

Only showing my last run and my two fun runs. Spent the other four runs trying to get use to oversteer and trying to figure out what to do with all that rear grip.

The TA is now the number 2 mod i have ever done on this car. In combo with the PHB. The car rotated and handled so well i didn't know what to do. Everytime i pushed harder it went right with it. Had i gone into attack mode sooner i might have been closer to the Subie guys. I wouldn't have beaten them (they ran something like 48 or 47s IIRC) but this is just another step closer to knocking on the throne.

More experience, HP, some weight taken off, and some real tires and we will have some good old fun.

That looks like a silly fun course!!! Seems like it was a pretty long distance wise even for ~50s course.

I would do tires, weight and more experience long before adding power. IMO, power can really mess with things. I think the 240 RWHP-300 RWHP range is near perfect on street tires, and with a V8 it all comes very early and stays with till the end which is perfect. Once you get some super stick tires I bet adding HP will be a good time improver.

The TA geometry really is a great geometry for a live axle car. It's incredible what proper geometry will do for a car while handling! I'm working on posting my videos from this past weekend, the first run shows you roughly what the 3-Link + PHB configuration does during hard cornering (it's actually kinda scary) and it may be worth taking a look at it. Granted, my 3-Link is not your TA+PHB config, but it should be pretty close except you wont have the axle wind up and pinion angle loss like I've got!

That is kinda my intent while i am gone. Buy some new seats, k member, a arms, delete back seat, better wheels, and anything else i feel like getting.

K-member would put you in C-Prepared you know that right??? You can rock the T/A in Street Touring if everything else fit in Street Touring, that also means you should be able to run it in SM (Obviously) and in ESP.

Of course, I'm a huge fan of building the car the way YOU want to, and say Frak the classes, but sometimes being able to compete in cars in your class and in the PAX is helpful to your ego

BTW if you care:
