THSCC Laurinburg

I only uploaded the final run. I upload the rest when i am not feeling so lazy. I picked this one cause it was my best and my celebration at the end. Its going to suck locking up this car for a year.

haha nice celebration at the end, I think where I race they would frown upon that... I have an "accident" at the end of one of my runs

Looks like a blast! I'm 100000% sure that I'd get thrown out if I did a donut on one of our sites!!!

That is the best part about that site, noone really cared and i wasn't the only one who did. With this club especially, i don't think they mind as long as it was done safely. Other clubs i have run with, yes i would likely get kicked out for it.

Yeah, my current club doesn't care if you get drifty, but the group I used to run with would get PISSED if they so much as thought wheelspin was intentional.

I'm not sure the NRSCCA cares about getting sideways occasionally, even if intentional so long as it is SAFE, however doing a donut at the end of a run would be highly frowned upon, safe or not simply because they like to keep things more professional than hobby oriented. I don't mind the strict adherence to rules as it is better prep for national level events, but being out at Oskaloosa where everything is far more relaxed and "yeah whatever" is always nice. I bet even they would find it excessive though

It would have been a badass way to get rid of the tread on the rear tires though!

That was my intention. There is not a very good chance of these tires being any good by the time i get back.

Why the proxes? I've never heard of anyone electing to buy 'em for AX duty. R1Rs, RA1s, or R888s, sure, though I don't really recommend any of 'em.

It was the first thing that came to mind this morning when i typed it. Haven't decided on tires yet. However, a new more menacing decision has to be made before i do anything else.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with RA1s or R888s in and of themselves, just when viewed through the lens of most AX classing. If you're not going to be in a street tire class that enforces a treadwear minimum, then you might as well run the stickiest slick you can get around your wheels.

RA1s are great track day tires, though. You can drive them to the track, run all day, they get nice and sticky when hot, and then drive 'em home.

Some photos from the event, these photos made me regret the idea of selling my car.
