oil control

Is the stock oil pan provide good oil control for autocrossing? I know if I am going to go road racing I should probably get a baffled oil pan, but for now I just want to autocross. Do I need to overfill? I dont want to blow my engine because of oil starvation. I did that once already when I used to autocross my old 1997 v6 f150.

I know I've never had an issue in the Cobra; I keep my oil "in between the lines", never seem to have oil pressure issues.

I don't think most corners in autocross are long enough to starve out the oil pickup tube.

If you were really worried about it, I'd get one of the oil accumulator systems that holds 2 quarts, and injects the oil when it senses the pressure drop (then recollects it when pressure is recovered). One of these would give you the added advantage of not having your top end be dry on engine start.
