WTB voltage meter

I need a voltage meter that will work well on our cars. Anyone have an extra one sitting in their garage they might be willing to give up for a good price? There are so many things I'd like to be able to check under my hood.

I bought one at harbor freight for <$5. Radio shack has decent ones for $10.

yeah, it all depends on what you are trying to do. you can get the ones listed but if you are going into more extensive things then get one that offers the requirements that you are looking for. I personally like fluke, as I do alot of extensive electronic work.

Fluke makes good stuff, but if all you measure is AC/ DC volts and ohms they are a waste of money. Once you get into RMS, and O-scope stuff you need to spend some bucks!! One nice feature is the continuity beeper, but even my $10 radio shack POS has that.
