my advice to you is to take that discount, get a loan, and buy $7500 worth of stuff with it. I had the same attitude while I was in school, and bought craftsman tools instead, only thing I bought the whole time I had discounts was one pen light from Matco, and mak I regret it. Now tha I am a full time tech, I constantly break craftsman tools and have to go after work to get them warrantied and deal with the morons at sears, and I am buying a lot of snapon, matco, and cornwell shit that I reallllly wish I had got while I got discounts. Plus, I need a new box real soon, there's something I DEFFINETELY should have bought back then.
hell, if you don't buy tools, at least buy the biggest toolbox they will let you...

I work in a body shop with tools everyday and snap on air tools is where its at. All their tools are great but is ridiculously overpriced. VERY BAD OVERPRICED.

I can agree on the price of the Snap-On stuff! But I can also tell you that while I have about 50% Snap-On and the other 50% being Mac/Matco...I have had to warranty far less Snap-On tools than the others! You get what you pay for.

I've had the same experience. All my most important tools are snap-on. But I have a lot of tools that aren't snap on as well.
