i love me a gsxr a guy brought me a wrecked one over the summer and i got it fixed and running for him. he coulnt pay for it told me it was insured and registered and to go ahead and ride it until he could pick it up lol. free gsxr 750 all summer. gotta say though i liked my cbr over the gsxr. just cant get used to that wide ass gas tank. i dont have any pictures of it fixed up but here is one of it and by cbr while they were "in the works"

but i like yours better NICE BIKE!!!

yeah i like the way it rides, i have yet to find many differences other than power bands between sport bikes. im not really a hard core rider though. i ride my harley more often. the other bike is a r1 which is quite a bit faster.

only thing i noticed while riding was the width of the gas tank. the gsxr was so wide after an hour or so my thighs got sore. the cbr had a skinny tank and i could ride comfy for a few hours till my back started to hurt lol.

im not a hardcore rider of sport bikes either though i have a xl1200 custom i ride as a daily thing.

I really only own sport bikes to kill the need to own one. Im a pretty big bike enthusiasts but mostly towards he. I had a 1200 nighters but trades it in for my night train

I'm not much of a single headlight fan...

They're nice, but I love my R6.

However, none of my friends around me has a GSXR for me to ride and compare too.

Nice bike. I was always a fan of the blue and white GSXRs.

That's just the gsxr look. Its a double head light in a single housing. I had a r6 back in the day. It was a sweet looking bike then and still sweet today. Im not a fan of the new r1 head lights now. The one I go looks like a big r6

They look sextacular on nudie bikes....I hate them on full blown sport bikes...I don't think the bike looks right.

But to each their own...

OP - GSXR's are still badass

Lol of course that Liter bike is going to be quite a bit faster than that 600. My 954 was almost night and day compared to the two 600s I had before I moved up in size. All addicting fun though. Miss it with a passion

That's a clean looking 03. I've got an 04 track only GSXR 600, and I can tell you these things need to REV to go fast. 9,000 RPM is not enough, you gotta have 11,000 showing before they scoot. Mine's a bit under 400 lbs with a full tank and it's fast enough for the track, it just makes the straights feel longer than the big bikes.

i have racked it out and it does feel quick, i think the bigger issue is i think my car maybe close to the same speed. but like i said its a beater bike to play with.

There was a whipple 03 Cobra toying with a buddy of mine one night, the cobra took the jump buddies 09 zx-6r couldnt reel it in. Been wanting to get back on a bike for a couple years now loved my 07 GSXR 750 perfectly balanced bike in my opinion.
