I Have Made A Decision...

Well me and my wife have decided to start losing weight...I started this on Monday...
I weighed in at 225lbs...For being 5'7" that is bad...I weighed myself this AM and I weigh 218lbs...
I have cut all cokes and other $hit out of my diet...
Im getting portion control under control...I have been limiting myself to about 1400 calories a day with a water intake of 3 liters per day at least...
I am working out again...2 miles runs and the 2 miles of walking...
I am eating right and living better even though it has only been a week...
My goal is to be back in my pre-military shape by Christmas...
Thats about 155lbs...So I have about 64lbs to lose...
I will keep this blog updated at least every other day...

YAY! Just keep reminding yourself that it's 9 stinkin' days - that less than a week and a half....you can do this and it isn't forever. Next week - you'll introduce lean meats.
Check out the BOCA and Morning Star products though. They are awesome especially with some onions and peppers sauteed in a little olive oil over the top of a couple burgers - YUM-O!
Also - Buy some portabella mushroom caps - the big ones - pour a little olive oil over them and season them the way you usually season your steaks - throw them on the grill and grab a steak knife and fork - close your eyes and eat it like you eat your steak - trust me...it's good! Do it after about 5 days of no meat and you'll LOVE it! lol

How's it going Chris? Push thru the next few days and stay true to it - book says to avoid the scales but I can't go a day without weighing so never did that. Others said it was amazing to see though.
Try mixing a can of corn, a can of black beans (rinse both of these) then throw in a vinaigrette of cider vinegar, olive oil and a little hot sauce...add some garlic and lime juice and some fresh cilantro - throw all that on top of some lettuce - add a little sour cream and salsa for a great taste explosion to rival the best taco salad.
