rear end help

i have a 95 v6 and have some money to play with i am planning on doing some swaping of rearend, i was wondering better route to go, 7.5 with a detroit trutrac and stronger axles, or swap out the 7.5 for a 8.8 trutrac. I am planning on putting a 351 with about 425 hp torque unknown, in this baby and was wondering which is the smarter route, because i will be beating on this thing once and a while
