1996 Mustang Side mirror install?

It appears the mirror mounting screws are behind the triangle shaped speaker on the door. Is this accurate and how do I remove the speaker to get at the screws?

1. 	the cover over the speaker will pop off with some prying. then some screws hold the tweeter enclosure in. after thats off its 3 nuts an it comes off...
