BMR Suspension would like to congratulate Pete Espeut for winning the Super Stang class at the NMRA Columbus event.

He won 5 rounds as he worked his way through the field of 21 S197 Mustangs. Pete, a member of Team BMR, used consistent launches and good reaction times on a very hot, slippery track to defeat some of Super Stang’s best racers including other Team BMR members. His 10-second car dead-hooked on every pass thanks to a pair of new BMR Lower Control Arms that were installed right before the race.

Pete uses many off-the-shelf suspension parts from BMR Suspension on his 2010 Shelby GT500.

Pete just called me to give me some great feedback.

He has been using a Polyurethane bushing in his upper control arm on this GT500. A few weeks ago he ordered our Spherical Bearing Adjustable Upper Control arm, and called to tell me he got a new Personal Best, JUST FROM CHANGING THE UPPER ARM!

Previous Best = 10.91@129 - 1.87 Sixty
New Best = 10.66@133 - 1.61 Sixty

I asked him if he changed anything else, he stated that the arm was the ONLY change! Pretty amazing to see results like this.

This car weighs 4100 #'s with driver, so I can certainly see where a spherical upper would help, but his results are pretty amazing.

Keep in mind, he is a bracket racer and has hundreds of passes on this car. He is no rookie!
