Brakes (Rumbles While Stopping)

i recently sprayed some clearcoat on my rims since i recently painted them. i think some of the clearcoat overspayed onto my brake disc becuase everytime i stop slowly, such as in traffic, my entire car rumbles and makes a loud noise. otherwise my brakes sound and stop normally if i stop fast. anyone know how to remove paint or clean my brake disc?

I am just supprised the paint has lasted any period of time on the discs. Try some extrmely fine grit sand paper.

Use a few cans of break parts cleaner youve glazed your rotors and pads so they are slipping and grabbing. worst comes to worse and u really glazed them you will have th have the rotors machined and use a fine grit sand paper on the pads to rough them up a bit.

could also be warped rotors but if u ad a contaminant to the break system it can and will cause these symptoms as well.

i agree i was just throwing in my two cents if cleaning didn't fix the problem.
