i ripped my E brake out of my floor

soo uh, i parked outside the other day, and i turned the car off, and pulled the e brake. the front half of the flat piece of metal that holds the e brake to the floor got the bolt ripped out of that floor looking panel. theres a hole there now, lol. its all rusty and stuff but only on the e brake panel that bolts to the floor. if this makes sense gimme some bonus points!!! haha

what should i do about this?

slap a patch over the hole & drill a new hole then reinstall the bugger.

I'd say do the patch and get a new E brake handle out of new edge. I think 01 they changed them,the mounting pads are farther apart front to rear.This way they will bolt into a new spot on the floor.

kool thanks, i'll take a look at it after i get the center counsole off. see what i can do. does anyone know of a hydraulic e brake setup i can do?

Cant have a hydraulic ebrake to be street legal, has to be the cable.
