You cannot get a true HDR picture out of that. You have to have multiple pictures at different exposures.

really need 3 exposures and the pic was grainy as hell

Weems, how do you do that once you get 3 pictures? I've taken 3 pictures of the same thing before (-2, 0, and 2). But how do you combine them to look like that?

You combine them using some sort of software. Some people use photoshop, like emay for instance, but I like to use Photomatix, then after you combine then you move on to tone mapping to edit them the way you like. Some people go for the cartoony look and some go for just a detailed look.
