GT500 Fun

Took a break from some other projects I was working on and turned this out. Since it's mustang related I figured I'd 'float' it and show you alls.

awesome
i still see a line of the different colors
i've found the best way to get the color match perfect is not just trying to match the color, but to do a screen shot and cut out a portion of the section and save for future use in which u can scretch as big as u need for the background and it matches it perfectly

The base is 10 minutes and a round of I-don't-give-a-shit, thus the "GT500 fun" title. Put it on my tab.

Jerk!
I clicked and eyedropper from a previous round of I-don't-give-a... and filled, haha. It's like no matter what I do.. I won't get an exact match. I can look at my screen with different angles and still see the color dis-match no matter what, even with other signatures. If I look at my screen head on I don't see the color unmatch, but 9 out of 10 sigs (including mine) that I look at I can see the border. I tried!

when talking about graphic art...when asked about the base of the design the answer should be something like..."im working out a way of chopping a car thats different" or "im practicing my chops"....when someone asks you a question about your work...don't play it off as something for S&G...believe in your work full force...

[QUOTE]If I look at my screen head on I don't see the color unmatch, but 9 out of 10 sigs (including mine) that I look at I can see the border. /QUOTE]

thats because you're running your images too close to the border of your work...at least that's what i've learned from doing them on this site...oh, and the eyedropper may be ez to use, but is actually a terrible tool to use because it pics up the color from a single pixel out of an image, which can throw your works color off...

This wasn't practice or a new concept. It was a flash idea that I turned out to break from the pace of the day. I do believe in my work full force, go check out my thread sampling some of the things I've actually taken time on in the past. I'm well aware of the eyedropper tool and it's faults with different hued pixels. But go Shift Cntrl N and Shift F5 and then Cntrl + as many times as you can and see if you can find pixel hue differences. I never take samples from anything but solid color fields. See my SRT4 crash picture to see the color wheel I create on a seperate layer so I can always color match from solid color fields.
Some of my stuff
You can see it here in one of my current projects, too

The fault will only be if the field I'm choosing from isn't matched!
As for running my images too close to the border- maybe so in some areas. I know that's the truth with a few of the signatures I've seen on here, as for the image I just posted- it's simply ummatched color, as is the same issue in my current signature, as I take care to leave at least half inch to an inch of floating border around everything. WLJohnsons print screen thing is what I should've done, and I'll fix it eventually.

haha im just givin ya a hard time man. but really u can go right to the border, thats how mine is setup, but u will need the background to be an actual piece for it to be a perfect copy.
