I am going to post the SIGs i have made here everytime i come up with a new one i would love for people to comment on how to improve them and if they are good looking or not.

Here is my first one that i have made.

looks good man.

things i would change:
-get rid of the silver background and make it .png with a transparent background to blend with anything you put it on.
-tilt the car on the left down to be even.
-use some sort of an border or effect on the fire/black part of the sig to make it have a 3d type effect.

I thought i did and then realized i didn't, i meant for it to be transparent.

That is the angle from the pic i liked it tilted but lowering it like you said may work.

This is the first time i got on photoshop in like 2 years. Took me an hour and a half to get this because i had trouble with croping the car out singe the magnetic tool thing doesnt work when the car is in the woods.

to make borders and 3d effects it becomes more of a preference. you can use layers on top of layers to make borders, or you can use the regular effects to make the piece pop and not look flat.

i use photoshop elements so it might be a little different, but it will look something like the picture i attached. it becomes a matter of playing around with it until you find a combination you like and looks good....there are a lot of effects you can add to just about anything.

Ya i see what you mean i could do that now that i think of it but is there a way to add an effect to just one layor. BTW my copy of photoshop is copied so its just the basic one and dont have the newer gangsta shit like you lol.

The white backround is going to be transparent but i still cant figure out how to do that. Also if you can tell me how to add it to the page instead of having it as an attachment thanks.

what you can do is when you go to save the actual image hit "save for web," then change it to a png24 and click on transparency. then hit the preview button and it will open up in the picture in a browser where you can save the image. then just use photobucket and post it up here.

WTF i hope its not to busy and i will need to adjust the color because #272727 is not the same as MM's background like i was told. lol na the transparency thing somebody told me didnt work.

I also think i will need to add a shadow thing like the one in your current sig.

adjusting color will never work, png is the only way to get it right. i guarantee it works if you do it right.

ok look through the attached images to help figure it out.

after you have your image done go to file>save for web

then its going to bring up a big box with two pictures and your settings on the right (at least thats how it is for me...
then make your settings like i have in the pic attached

then go down to preview and hit it.

then save image to your computer

then upload that image to photobucket or other hosting site.

copy the image url and post it in you posts with these tags around the url: [IMG]image url here[/IMG]









i would post up the final result, but as you can see photobucket rapes me pretty much every month now saying i go over the 10gb bandwidth

FTW thanks pics helped. right now my PS isnt working and i think we have the same version mine just is a copy so i need to redo my crack becasue it ist working for me right now.

#272727 is what I use on all my sigs for the background, yours is showing up as #323232. Looks good tho Killa.

hmm maybe you have a different version of mine. idk i put in 272727 but i can check when i get my PS fixed.

Thanks, I just enjoy playing around and seeing what I can come up with. I brushed over the corner of yours with #272727, so I'm not sure what happened to make it get off. I have had a couple issues with the PNG transparency, but see if Johnson can get you straight it'll make it easier for ya.

I thought thats what it was. sorry i made it black to match the car not thinking that you wouldent be able to see it. lol ill change it when i get PS working again idk maybe the same color as your window add think. that light bluish color.
