NC circle tracks/events

hey guys, i live in the raleigh NC area and am looking to get into racing at some circle track events. i heard NC is a pretty damn good place to live for this kinda thing but ive never heard of any tracks or events going on. anyone know of any? or know of how i can get into this?

Im in jacksonville sadly, there is coastal plains its a drag strip but right next to the strip is an oval track. Think its called coastal raceway

I live up in Elizabeth City about 2 hrs north of you... I raced last season up here and what a blast. Down side is I cant run this season bc work freaked out about it (Military) So I have my Super Street/ Pure Stock car up for sale now. But very easy to get into, either go out and make friends this season or pick up a car and show up and run, Just make sure you have everything your Tech at you local track will require in the rules and have fun.

Yes im aware this thread is slightly old but still figured I would post lol...
