You need to go to a local dirt track stock car race and just watch for a few minuets...

There is alot more to it than just driving in circles.

The shorter the track.......the better the racing.

The guys who race Sprint cars in the World of Outlaws are true bad asses.

http://www.sprintcarworld.com.au/out...ault.asp<br />

Something about driving a 1600 #, open wheel car with 1000+hp ,on a 3/8 to 1/2 mile dirt track at speeds up to 120mph makes me think its alittle more involved than driving straight down a 1/4 mile track

wish i had the money to build a car for both. i would love to tear a road course up.yea i agree theres a lot more to circle track racing than most think. always adjusting the set up as the race goes on and different set ups for every track

i used to race only paved ovals...but i got bored with it (5 champs)

so now i switched to road courses and dirt ovals =]]]

i might get into drag racing too...i guess i like it all

if its fast enough to do something stupid in , chances are i would give it a go
