New here and wanted to say hello.


Hey guys, Im new here and just wanted to say hello. I have a 1968 mustang with the 289. Its cream white with a red interior. I have recently put dual 40 series flowmasters on her and am in the process of restoring her interior.

Very happy to have you here. Most people here at MM have newer Mustangs with 5.0s or 4.6s, so I am very happy to see more people here that have classic Mustangs.

I see why you think a 289 is slow. I am sure yours is. You could put some many upgrades on you car. Tell me when you are ready to make her faster.

when he say it was slow? And his is pretty much all matching numbers except for the tranny with less than 73k ORIGINAL miles. If he modded that thing i would would smack him.

Unless you are going to show it, you could mod it and keep the stock stuff in a pile. You could even make it look stock. You could also mod the inside and no one would know, not even at a show.

I do have plans to show it. But thanks for the ideas. Ill try those when I get another pony.
