Time to rebuild the tranny

I've been noticing that when I'm cruising down the highway in fourth and let off the gas (take load off the enigne), it would shimmy and shake a little, but when I put a load back on it, the shimmy would stop. In the last few weeks, I've also developed a clutch shimmy when I engaged the clutch, and it's a new clutch and flywheel, and on top of that, the input shaft seal has started leaking pretty badly.

I pulled the tranny, mainly to replace the seal and stop the leak. I noticed there was some play in the input shaft........a lot of play. I can actually move the shaft in and out 3"-4" . In a toploader, fourth gear rides on that main shaft, which would explain my shimmy. I guess it's time to go through it
