Question

1964-1972 Mustang

I've been looking for a while for a classic mustang to work on and make a weenend cruiser. My question is, if i choose to buy a 6 cylinder mustang with an automatic tranny, how hard would it be to convert it to a modern V8 with T-5 tranny. How much modification is required on the engine bay to fit one of those modern engines.

If you're buying a classic whether it's a 6 or an 8 you should keep it as original as possible. That's the value of a classic..where people wait a year or longer for an original part. I wouldn't do it. Classic Owners know this, numbers gotta match. : )
