Whats a 289 worth?

I have a 289 motor (can't remember off hand what it was out of, some Galaxy I think? I'll have to look) but its a complete motor. Stock bottom end, stock heads. Baby cam in with, with an aluminum edelbrock intake, and some fancy valve covers. Any idea what it would be worth?

as a core $250, As a rebuilt $1200 to $1800

I don't know what you mean as a core, I mean its a good running motor, holds great oil psi and whatnot.

just bought a 289 hypo for 350.00.just lucky i guess.

Core = a good buildable motor

A good running take out motor will be about $600 - 800

what about a more of less stock rebuild, that has 11k miles on it?

500.00-600.00 if its in good running condition.

kewl. It ran just fine when i pulled it out. Just haven't decided what's going back in yet.
