Manual Swap
Hey guys would a t-5 and flywheel from a 91 be a straight swap into a 68 302? I have a C4 in it right now so i would need to use the flywheel and get a clutch pedal setup and so on. Thanks for the help.

Depends on the year 302. the older 302s had a different balance. Anything older than 81 had a 28oz balance like the Windsors. Newer than 81 they went with 50oz.

damn i thought someone was going to say that would be the case. i dont know much about fords yet since i just got mine about a month ago but i had heard something about the balance thingie.

use everything from your year car,get the conversion kit from one of the mustang places like mustangone.they have the adapter plate trans crossmember and the yoke.that makes it a simple install.
