yay for drum brakes...NOT!
i am getting so fed up! im so close to buying a disk brake kit. does anyone know of a good brand i could go with?
for those interested in what happened: Im lucky it happened after getting off the freeway, but after a long day at work, my brake shoes decided to take a shit on me. it was my mistake for getting bonded shoes in the first place when i should have gotten at least riveted shoes(funds are short these days). basically the shoes fell apart. i was able to nurse the car back to my house a few miles away using the e-brake. a few months ago a piston siezed in one of the wheel cylinders...gotta love drums! ok, ranting over.

Only place I know that makes disc for 4 lug still is scarebird.com
I don't think CSRP makes 4 lug.

Yeah scaredbird works for the 4-lug front. You'll end up using nissan rotors, and you'll have to have your hub machined.
But it's pretty much the cheapest option out there. I considered it, but I want 5 lugs and beefier spindles, so I'm going with CSRP (discbrakeswap.com) as well. Steve |
